Megan began her professional acting and modeling career at the age of 13 after winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. With these new awards, Megan started seeking a future acting career and moved to Los Angeles to help pursue this dream. In 2001, Megan made her feature film debut in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie, Holiday in the Sun, where she played the spoiled, stuck-up antagonist, Brianna Wallace.

She went on to garner recurring roles in the low-key soap opera Ocean Ave. and appeared in an episode of the Amanda Bynes sitcom What I Like About You.

In 2004, Megan co-starred alongside Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, where she gained mainstream recognition. She also appeared in a TV movie called Crimes of Fashion and secured a spot on the Kelly Ripa-led sitcom Hope & Faith.

Megan was named #68 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006". She was listed #18 on Maxim magazine's yearly Hot 100 list in 2007, #16 in 2008 and #2 in 2009. In 2008, she was voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM.

Megan stared as the female lead in the Michael Bay-helmed movie Transformers, released on July 7th, 2007. Her character, Mikaela Banes, plays the love interest of Shia LeBeouf’s character Sam "Spike" Witwicky. She reprised her role in Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen in 2009 and is signed on for part 3.

Fox starred in Diablo Cody's Jennifer's Body, which she played the lead character, Jennifer Check, a cheerleader possessed by a demon. She will also make a cameo in Jonah Hex, where she will play Leila, a gun-wielding beauty and Jonah Hex's love interest. Fox will also star in a leading female role in The Crossing about a young couple who get caught up in a drug trafficking scheme during their vacation to Mexico. She will also play the lead role of Aspen Matthews in the film adaption of the comic books Fathom.

Megan currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She has one older sister. She has had a relationship with Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green since 2004.

Megan has 9 tattoos, including "Brian" on her lower hip, a picture of Marilyn Monroe's face on her right forearm, a quote on her right shoulder that reads, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies" , a yin and yang tattoo on her left inner wrist, a poem on the left side of her rib cage that reads "there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART," a Chinese word for "strength" on her neck, and a crescent moon overlapping a five pointed star on the inner aspect of her lower leg above her right ankle.

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986 in Anderson County, Tennessee. At the young age of 5, she began taking drama and dance. When she turned 10, her family moved to Florida where Megan continued her training and finished school.
